Nino attended
art and photography schools in his native Northern Italy.
After relocating to the US
in 1970, he began his career as a freelance commercial photographer and
cinematographer. In the first decade as a freelancer he expanded his skills by
regularly attending The New England Institute of professional Photography and
the Maine Photographic Workshop. During this period he also received an
unprecedented 55 national and regional awards for photographic excellence. Samples
of his work were published in trade publications around the world.
In the mid
eighties Nino made the switch to television broadcasting where he worked on most
major network programming including top rated national shows - 60 Minutes
and 20/20. Today his work can be seen regularly on ESPN, ESPN Classic and ESPN
Deportes. Along with many of his colleagues Nino was instrumental in refining the
ESPN Classic style of lighting and set designs that have become a standard of
high quality for interviews across the industry.
For the last 20
years Nino has also been traveling around the world producing commercial
programs for many distinguished names that include the Hyatt, Marriott
and Hilton Resorts.
